I used YouTube's online tool to edit it, and it took all night to process. I wanted to cut out any reference to giving feedback to Amazon, because they wanted to use that as cover for how badly their DVDs are performing. I didn't want to give them that out! So I'm holding off on reposting it now to give this video a chance to breathe without distraction, but I'll put it back up soon!

Seeing as their current Season Two plans amount to rebooting the show I think CBS (especially with Moonves gone) has realized their entire Trek franchise is in real trouble.

Why does no one in a position of power notice that TPTB at the helm of ST are bereft of ideas? It's bad enough that they're trying to milk Picard's corpse but now they're actually considering a Khan series? Why? There's nothing "really cool" about this idea. It's the epitome of lame. It's the equivalent of breaking down on the freeway and saying "Super cool I ran out of gas, I'm a huge fan of pushing my car."

Ironic I know given that Star Trek has very little hate but this show is basically shitting on the franchise. It's a disgrace and shows the lack of respect and that the writers think that we will take on everything that they throw at us.

DS9 was awesome (I am in that camp). It is arguably the most well rounded and best expression of Roddenberry's vision for Star Trek. Enterprise....not so much. But I still consider it Star Trek, and after Discovery came out, it seems great in comparison. Discovery is not Star Trek.

I'm sure you can but I want to hear singularity's opinion. All too often I hear opinions from people slamming this or that just because without actually putting the finger on an actual, definitive problem.

I know for a fact that singularity has not been watching it since day one like I have. :) I have been watching it since the very first episode aired in 1966. I even lived with this actress and to this day I still have her cat which I adopted when she and I left the house she was sharing (she owned it):

I have done the convention thing, met all of the TOS cast, read every book, and even met Roddenberry himself. Suffice it to say, I can give in minute detail why Discovery sucks, and have done so on this forum. :anim_59:
