I love this Doomcock dude! Klingorcs!
I watched about 10 seconds of that video. Why would I want to see a trailer or teaser packaged by the showrunners or by CBS? OF COURSE it will try and sell you that the show is exciting, and worthy of your love and viewership and especially your money.
I don't give it the time of day. I am only interested in seeing honest reviews, independent critiques and fan commentary. It is easy to suss out the reality of this show:

NO negative reviews from critics? That tells you that none of the critics who voted have ever seen actual Star Trek. If you polled the actual actors and producers who have worked in any Star Trek before Abrams, that number would NOT be a zero. We already know Marina Sirtis does not like this show, and neither does Levar Burton.

It's sooooooo obvious that they know the Michael Berman character is an epic fail among ST fans so now they are scrambling to overhaul the show into something more ensemble in nature with lovable, wacky characters like "Tilly" who we're supposed to bond with and relate to for no reason other than the fact that the writers say so.
The cynicism from this show is palpable. What a bunch of hacks.

I have only read that Marina has not watched the show yet but she will eventually watch it on "netflix". That might be a big white lie though, who knows. I am trying to find an article on Levar Burton's opinion on discovery, but the only thing I can find is that is thst he was jealous of Jonathan Frakes directing Discovery.

And there was nothing preventing Marina from getting pre-screening episodes of Discovery. She could have even used the same free two-episode trial everyone else had. But she didn't. Why would any of the TNG cast like Discovery? There is nothing in it to like.
