You should check out Battletech or even Robotech, there are some great robots in there. I feel you like more "organic" forms of robots, have you checked out images from Bubblegum Crisis at all? They are more like the "bodysuit" style of mechs.

ah organic is more my thing modern and sleak.

+1 for an epic score & Video ! Love it.

aye it is a good score anim isnt bad but could use more detail in the close ups.

ive now (finally) begun using photoshop to enhance the realism in my renders.

Alot actually. and yes i strengthened my original render lensflare with an additional onein photpshop but i also did alot of other things.

Looks great dude, the only bit I can look at and go "obvious CGI construct" is the structure in the bottom right corner, the light looks very unnatural and it affects the look of that whole stucture.
