You must have been worried sick. I saw that on the news too and when it mentioned Indiana, I thought of ya.well survived the last day/night....snookie went to a Sugarland concert at the Indiana state fair...yep THAT concert... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44133994/ns/us_news-life?gt1=43001 luckily she was in the cheap seats and is unhurt.....we got a call from her last night and hubby went driving in the pouring rain to pick her up at the fairgrounds....her car was not able to be moved...but it was unhurt! now my heart beat is back to normal, hugged and kissed my girl several times, and can breathe. it was a weather caused tragedy- high winds - 5 dead so far 45 injured. it took hubby over 2 hours to get to her because of all of the mess...but she was safe and sound in an evacuation tent waiting for her ride. today we had to go get her car. the emergency equipment had blocked a few thousand cars and she was escorted in by the police/security to get her car. what a night!

I see on the news that the Canadian military are going to revert back to its traditional department names.
Canadian Forces Maritime to be Royal Canadian Navy (again)
Canadian Forces Air Command to be Royal Canadian Air Force (again)
Land Force Command to be Canadian Army (again)
Following the British tradition and that of the Commonwealth like Australia or New Zealand. Glad to see Canada is coming back to its senses and restoring honour back to the Canadian military.

Canada has an army? Haha, kidding. Weird, wonder why they switched.
I think it's due to the realisation that being part of the modern day monarchy is a cool thing and not necessarily mean being bogged down with historical & traditional rules and regulations that Canada is obviously uncomfortable with (whereas it's part of what it means to be British). Besides even in Tinsel Town, celebs would love to have the monarchy so Canada probably realise that since they have it, why not flaunt it? Hence, coming to its senses.Canada has an army? Glad your daughter's safe Rac.
