No idea....do tell!

what!?! you didn't know!?!

Those were their STUNT DOUBLES!

Trivia: Which movie actually had that as a plot device?

I even tried to cheat with a crawler...no dice. Do tell! :)

Yes indeed, it was Spaceballs!

And yes it is well worth watching if for no other reason that seeing everyone being terrified of Rick Moranis (complete with horn rimmed glasses) is priceless.

Sanctuary is back soon, we are starting to see ads on SyFy.

And one of them has Tesla as a vampire again!

Some "vampire" in twilight
The Big Guy mentioned, when asked, that his "favorite" character in Twilight, was "Marcus" (the Volturi vampire Chris Heyerdahl plays in that film).

I love pop culture references, especially when it makes for a wink wink nudge nudge kind of joke.

There is an irony in Sanctuary being successful and already having a renewal for a fourth season while SGU is playing out the run into oblivion.

Sanctuary is inexpensively budgeted and (especially for a show with its premise) doesn't rely of CGI of special effects to get viewers. Amanda Tapping and Damien Kindler do it the old fashioned way - well drawn characters people can root for combined with interesting stories. No "soap-fi" or excessive angsty drama.

And they respond to fans, unlike certain other producers :icon_e_wink:. I really find that interesting.
