I think what johnsheppard meant was that SGU could be set in yet another AU where the wraith were not a threat.

Nah, Nothing sneaky about the way I do things dude :)

I'm generally about as subtle as a sledgehammer. It's actually why I get a laugh out of some people on GW because they try to "out" me as someone who posts here (or SGUS, whatever), Yet I have never tried to hide the fact that GF '76 is the same here, the same on GW and the same on Syfy. I see no need to obfuscate my identity any further than one screen name.

I actually was posting about it before I ever «met» gf, but what he said to build on it also rang true for me. Simiar way of looking at the overall big picture.

More related to how each of us thought about the show, it's direction and it's effects on Stargate as a salable peice of merchandise IIRC
