I hope not. But I don't think there is. ;)

It would almost be worth it to get my hands on a Stargate.

Lunch Hour would be alot more fun. :icon_e_wink:

Swoosh. Ah, Bahamas .....hour later. Swoosh. Back to the grind.

LOL. Yes, I am warped , but doesn't that just prove that I belong here? :icon_cool:

If I had a stargate I would use it for a lot more than simple lunch breaks. :D

Yes, Yes that is true. But that was always a pet peeve of mine. I always hated luch hours, could never get anywhere quick enough , so always ended up skipping it and working through lunch. With a Stargate, you could go anywhere. But yeah, Travellling to a different part of the world every night. That would be beyond cool too.

This episode should have gotten many more viewers just for the presence of Rodney! And it would have. I blame all the angry SGU fans for boycotting this episode just to make SGA look bad and to remove all chances of it ever coming back. I also blame Syfy for not wanting this episode to succeed so they do not have to worry about bringing back SGA. Once again they shafted their loyal viewers because they simply do not care!

Think about this: All 800,000 people who watched the episode on Monday were SGA fans. If the 800,00 SGU fans had not refused to watch it, the McKay episode would have had 1.7 million viewers, which is exactly the ratings SGA was getting mid season 5. :P

Except for perhaps a couple of hundred people hanging around websites like these, nobody cares about McKay or SGA or SGU. They will watch the shows they want to watch or not, depending on their own tastes, totally oblivious of what is discussed on websites like these. Even if all the people that hang around SG-fansites would stand together and decide to all watch or not watch a specific episode, it would not be noticeable in the ratings. Furthermore, the ratings are an average which is based on a rather limited number of households. It is unlikely that among those households there is a large number of people who also frequent websites like these so that makes it even less likely a rally would impact the ratings.

I think It is just getting harder and harder being a fan of a show and watching it tank.

If I was a die hard fan of SGU, I know it would be extremely painful to see the show perform worst and worst - it's like a dying patient gasping for their last breaths; everytime the collective say - "SGU is awesome" - the important numerical evidence states a complete contradiction. Must be hard, even more so when the latest incarnation of a favourite franchise has become the way it is. SGA passed the SG Torch to SGU and they failed.

Sad state of affairs. If only more and more fans were vocal and realised earlier on that SGU was a big mistake; the franchise wouldn't be in the mess we are in now.

I don't think any fans opinion would have mattered. It is all up to TPTB.

It just really does not ring as true. If they could not figure out a vague way to mention it, then it would have been better not to pull anyone in from the SGA show. They keep talking about the LA being this big threat on Earth, there is no way they would not also mention the Wraith. Different show, I know , but not different Earth. So, it just does not ring true. It really makes it seem like the audience is just supposed to swallow whatever pill they decide to feed us.
Or maybe Alternate Universe with not the same threat so not the same Mackay or Woolsey too.

Stoneless, I think you need to lurk a little more at GW and Syfy and read what die-hard SGU fanboys constantly write about why SGU is tanking in the ratings to appreciate McShepp's humor... ;)

Maybe no one thought SGA characters were in or SGA fans tired by all their lies and poor series given up to watch it and it was only sgu remaining who watched this ep.
Or imagine if all SGA fans watched this +sgu ones 2.5 million viewers the highest rates of this spin off LOL.
So can we imagine how stupid behavior could condamn all SG franchise!!.

I don't think you understood the point of argument. It was simply to state that it did not ring true to me that they would not mention the wraith at all during the SGA character crossover on SGU. The AU point was merely to show how dangerous the Wraith can be, even weakened.

Again, I would suggest you go and look at other forums. Many fans are still very divided about the shows, but most are still just very sad about how low the ratings are. I am a fan of all three shows, SG1,SGA and SGU respectively but I still defended the show when the cancellation happened. I agree with GF , the bigger picture is the damage to the franchise. The show has been getting worse over the last two weeks, the end is getting closer and the ads are very light. Add it all up and it equals the same. End of SG. But ultimately fans were just reacting to TPTB that started it all. We were all just pawns in their gamble of greed that did not pay off. And we the fans are the ones that lost the most in the end.

What do you mean by that?
