Ratings II

Indeed. You can't get more SGA iconic than McKay! Other than perhaps Sheppard, but they're probably at the same level.
Although I must say A LOT more people would be tuning in just to see Joe Flanigan, especially the ladies ;)

I think you overestimate his pulling power, I'd wager Mckay was the more popular character. In fact I half wonder if he's become more popular in our circle due to his anti-SGU approach.
No offense intended to hardcore Flanigan fans but I've never thought he was that good an actor outside of playing Sheppard. That might well be down to it being the only decent role he's been given in quite a while. I'd certainly enjoy him showing up in SGU though, the darker side of Sheppard (seen in Season 4) never really came to fruition and this would be the perfect place to showcase that.

Of course bar some Brad Wright miracle, his Stargate canon will be ending soon so any hope of seeing my favorite characters interact is slim.

Yep, it's totally clear now, thanks.
Also thanks to Tropicana.

So is terrestrial a lot of channels there?
Here there's only 3 I think. But I also get those via cable.

The main ones are ABC, 7, 9 and 10 (and to a lesser extent SBS). Then you have the digital channels which at this point mostly host programs that "failed to perform" on those main channels. All up there are 10 (I think....) FTA channels in Australia.

I thought it'd be a good idea to carry the list on this thread as is being done on the ratings predictions thread.
Took me a while to sift through 34 pages containing 675 comments and I'm therefore a tad disappointed that I only found the following numbers.
It will make predicting the numbers for the next eps easier and more competitive to have these easily available methinks.
If anyone has the numbers for the earlier season 2 eps or even the season 1 eps it might be nice to add those as well.

S2E11 - 1.035.000 - Deliverance
S2E12 - ..928.000 - Twin Destinies
S2E13 - ..814.000 - Alliances
S2E14 - ..876.000 - Hope
S2E15 - ..823.000 - Seizure
You might want to check the first post of this thread. ;)

Though the spreadsheets need to be updated a bit. OM1, you there?!

well show stinks so there is nothing left to say. everywhere I have read reviews this ep tanked! many people couldn't get passed nekkid rush :puke:
That's probably what caused it. Rush having virtual sex... :S I'm all for free loving but sometimes, you just need to have a young muscular guy all bound, oiled up, flexing and grunting to make the show hot. Having Rush doing that... not so hot.

SGU would get clobbered.
Precisely, making it the perfect timeslot for SGU since Syfy doesn't expect anything good to come out of Sunday mornings.

Yeah, somehow I don't find them charts to be very readable and appealing.
For the predictions thread I would prefer to have access to a list like the one I posted.

I was dissapointed in this ep, but I can't believe how bad the ratings were. I cannot believe that I am shocked about this again. At this point, I wish they would burn it off and let the show end with a shred of dignity.

But then I wouldn't have as much to look forward to week after week. :(

I think alot of SGU fans and SG fans in general are just kind of sad at this point. End the misery , quick.

We will always have 17 seasons of SG to view over and over and over again till we get real sick of it, and noone can take that away from us. :)

Agreed, That is mostly what I am watching now, but it is very bittersweet, I want new shows, darn it. And the more I think about it , the madder I get that Rodney did not mention anything about the stinkin Wraith and Atlantis falling into the sea. What a complete load of dog sh#$. Again, watching this show tank completely, and I am not just talking about the ratings, this is disgusting. First they take you up in Twin Destinies, then crash down with Hope, and then this ep which was pointless. And they completely ignore SGA and SG1 storylines. Like they don't exist , even though the pull the characters over from the shows. Completely Pointless. ERRRGH! Mad and Sad, Just burn it off.

I think it's a good thing that they didn't mention Atlantis or the stinking wraith.
This way they leave that particular story wide open for potential future continuations in whatever direction.
Better that than having someone casually mention something which you may have to stick to later when it's really not at all important for the current show.
Bare in mind that they did already have a script in place for an SGA movie.

It just really does not ring as true. If they could not figure out a vague way to mention it, then it would have been better not to pull anyone in from the SGA show. They keep talking about the LA being this big threat on Earth, there is no way they would not also mention the Wraith. Different show, I know , but not different Earth. So, it just does not ring true. It really makes it seem like the audience is just supposed to swallow whatever pill they decide to feed us.

Weren't the wraith pretty much defeated at the end of SGA season 5?

SG1 can handle whatever amount of wraith remained. :D

Haha, but remember the AU when the Wraith was on earth pretending to be human , with Shep? That one Wraith was able to kill alot of people pretty easily. Just imagine what even one Hive ship could do. Definately worth a mention. :icon_e_confused:

So the wraith killed a lot of people easily.
Humans can do it better. (ironically)
