With the year after year reboots of these same movies, why does each reboot have to start with the origins? Why not make the reboot interesting?
The last Superman reboot didn't start with his origin. "Superman: Goes Away" starts with him having left Lois with a super bun in the oven for no apparent reason, then comes back and finds Kevin Spacey has gone bald and turned evil. It was the most boring, mind-numbing reboot ever but it did break from the pack in that respect.
Here's a silly question. Superbutt flew all the way to Krypton in the last reboot but he gets his powers from the effects of our yellow sun. Wouldn't he lose his powers as he distances himself from our sun and just die in the vacuum of space? Let's say, for argument's sake, space is filled with yellow stars all the way to Krypton. Wouldn't the same happen anyway as he approaches Krypton's star?

"As a Kryptonian, Kal-El possesses the ability to absorb the solar energy from yellow stars. His Kryptonian body is constantly absorbing and storing energy from Earth's yellow sun (allowing him to retain energy under roofed structures and even at night) which in turn grants him incredible powers, including superhuman strength, enhanced senses, impenetrable skin, and the ability to defy gravity."
How far into deep space does this work? And, again, what about when he reaches the Krypton system? If a bit of kryptonite trashes him here then he doesn't stand a chance between his sun and his planet when he gets there.

The entire premise requires suspension of belief. I'm just point out inconsistencies.
