I can hear him groaning!

 :rotflmao: :joy: Looks like Joseph Mallozzi wants to really distant himself from stargate entirely...Can't handle the pressure. LMAO!

OMFG.. Why do people keep asking this! FFS.

LMAO!

Lloyd67 writes: ““People at SyFy and elsewhere have hinted that if SGU could meet or exceed its launch ratings, they might reconsider the cancellation. Which means that the show could be saved, if somehow its ratings were higher.” true ?

Answer: I wouldn’t hold my breath.

:thoranime12::rotflmao:

Honesty...finally. :) Why are these SGU fans so unrealistic? WHAT would suddenly make the show meet or exceed its launch ratings? Magic? The same logic could be employed by SG-1 and SGA fans to fight for those shows being renewed, and they would have more compelling reasons than those for renewing SGU! If they renew anything, it should be Atlantis. But because I am a logical individual, I see that the possibility of that happening is just about nil, given the sets are gone and the actors are no longer available. :(

I bet Mallozzi groans and rolls his eyes every time he sees anything related to SGU on his blog. He almost sounds annoyed at having to answer questions about it!

As much as I love to see a movie(SGA/SG-1), realistically speaking, it's not going to happen.I've learnt to accept that, now it's SGU fan's turn to do the same thing.

I am sure SGU fans are buthurt, but, they don't know that our passion for sga/sg-1 is stronger than their passion for SGU. How much of a shock was it when we heard about SGA's and SG-1's cancellation?

I've noticed this actually. The tone in his writing has changed after the cancellation. I get the impression, he is bored and hates answering the questions.

So he has been in LAS (Las Vegas) for the past couple of days with his friend "Martin" who IMO, looks ever so adorable.

The mailbag features the same ol', though there was one question of particular interest -

Lighting? Really? Place a few candles here and there and it will look just the same.

I think he must have a sigh of relief not to be part of the SGU project or stargate project. He knows they screwed up,but won't admit it.

What's another indication is, he seems to believe he has now heavier "workload". Frankly, I find that a BS excuse. How so? He was able to produce and write 2 stargate franchises simultaneously, but has trouble making this requirements?

JM, heroic to the end! lol

I wouldn't be surprised that he is relieved, cos he can bail out and pretend everything is a-okay, when everybody knows he is bluffing and was a contributor to the downfall of a franchise. He probably feels that since he's working on another show/franchise now, he is no longer held accountability for SG. Sadly, the world doesn't work that way. For as long as he is alive, he will always be marked as a contributor to the downfall of the once massively successful Stargate franchise.

Also, last night, while perusing the latest news headlines on twitter, I made the mistake of checking out some of the trending topics, which brought me to the following music video. You know how some stuff is so bad it’s good? Well this is so bad it’s good and then slingshots back through bad to downright awful.
“Yes-ter-day was Thurs-day. Thurs-day.
To-day it is Frid-day. Friday.
We we we so excited.
We so excited.
We gonna have a ball to-day.
Tomorrow is Saturday.
And Sunday comes afterwards…”
Seriously. Her parents presumably help her with her math homework. Would it have killed them lend out a hand with those lyrics?

I just had to post this segment of Joseph Mallozzi's blog...

   :rotflmao: DO NOT listen to this track, it is bad! I am warning you, but feel free to play it.

Yeah, his tone in that blog post reveals much. Sounds like he just wants to disassociate himself from SGU for good. :icon_lol:

I notice he hasn't been mentioning SGU much at all lately. Although he did give a nice plug for Jason Momoa's upcoming Conan movie. I bet if you got him drunk somewhere and had him spill his guts we'd find he resents the hell out of SGU and BW and Co. But he'd never admit it sober.

Check out my sig. "In wine there is truth", meaning that if you get someone drunk it will loosen their tongue and they'll tell you the real deal of the situation. The only problem with getting JM drunk would be that after he spilled the beans about SGU you'd be stuck with a drunk JM on your hands. No thanks! :icon_lol:

I could see Joe M opening up more since he is no longer on the SG payroll. The guy did say he preferred writing for the more faster paced, action/advenure with comic relief kinda shows.

Well, whatever he does, I wish him well.

I can't stay mad at the guy. He was parroting what he was probably being told. He probably trusted the people who were feeding him misinformation.

I never had an issue with Joe M. He has answered my questions, he knows who I am, and he knows I am not happy about SGA's fate, and you know what? I don't think he was too thrilled about SGA being cancelled either. He just had to jump on the new band wagon because it was paying the bills. Not saying he is innocent but he is one of the more vocal producers who is there in the front line dealing with fans. He got a lot of hate thrown at him, and in the end if the decision was his, maybe he would or wanted SGA to continue instead of SGU. I dunno. lol.

I actually might give his new series a shot, because I do like what him and Paul have written for Stargate.

We focus more on BW and JM because they're the vocal ones. I don't have anything against JM except for his rants and I wonder how much of that was just to stir things up and get more traffic on his web site. It works! We have a whole thread devoted to whatever he writes there and I know I went there for a couple weeks after his infamous rant. I think he's a firm believer in "No such thing as bad publicity".

Just  That "song" sounded like that little girl was singing lines out of her diary or making it up as she was going along. Totally vapid teen fluff. I feel so sorry for the kids of today!

Yeah tell me about it. Those lyrics actually makes this sound like Shakespeare, and that's a hell of an accomplishment.
