my god... this ******** never ceases to amaze me...




wait a minute he callls himself a writer and he works in the TV/movie industri but you dont watch anything new that comes out? wow he is full of himself.. so basicly every though that ever crsses his mind is in his head brilliant and has never been done before?

i dont get this at all WTF if i was working as a writer in the TV/movie buisness id read wtach and hunger for EVERYTHING so it would help inspire me and maybe help me in creating something that hasnt been done before... (i should really stop reading the blog as it just annoys me more and more.)

And I hope he does, cos once he screws that up, he will have a brand new set of fans to answer to, especially so when the TV series destroys the chances for Transporter 4.

Another thing to consider is the simple fact that for someone who claims not to watch much TV or movies SGU sure as hell was derivative, which is a kind way of saying it was all stolen material from concept to characterizations. There's no denying this. Even if SGU was the brain child of BW and RC that would mean that JM was nothing more than a hired scribbler and not a writer. This literally would mean that he was nothing more than a secretary taking dictation.

Now, if this wasn't the case and he did add creative input into SGU then how does he explain the blatantly stolen concepts and characters? They had to come from somewhere and he sure as hell didn't make them up in his little brain. That would be wayyyyyyy too coincidental.

No matter how you slice it JM is a mess. He lies as a matter of course; it just comes naturally. He obviously doesn't even know he does it. His whole statement of not watching TV or movies makes little sense. He had to watch TV and movies in the past (to a great degree) in order to be the head writer and executive producer of a show that was a rip off of countless other shows and movies. There's no two ways about it. To claim ignorance on this point would mean the man was too stupid to hold that position.

And if he isn't watching TV or movies now that also points to his poor writing skills. To be proficient in one's field one has to stay abreast of all the latest happenings. To claim disinterest in one's chosen field of work pretty much condemns one to mediocrity. This will show in his work, which it did in SGU.

JM is a loser and admits as much. Shame he is so pathological that he is the last person to notice.

I wouldn't say she's not bright. She doesn't speak English, that's for sure, but there isn't anything there to judge her IQ unless you count her judgment in "men".

Well, even "men" is subjective. We only know this time around she missed the target. He wowed her with his big hollywood credentials and cool foreign speak and promises of a green card. If you take that last one, maybe she's smarter than we know.

He doesn't appear to be very masculine to me. Kindva wimpy but you don't know how she was raised. It could be a cultural thing where she is taught to be subserviant. In her country he may be a catch, where as in our country we would throw him back and ask for a do over.

Ok, I fell behind on the mailbag and it looks like the Atlantis self-destruct idea for the Extinction movie was brought up a week ago.

Mallozzi's Answer: I disagree. It’s the move away from Pegasus (something new and unforeseen) that triggers the self-destruct. Given the way things were going in the war against the wraith, it makes sense that the Ancients would take measures to ensure the city not fall into enemy hands. Furthermore, we did establish the city’s self-destruct system early in the series run.

So falling into enemy hands somehow equates to the enemy moving the city to another galaxy? Who knew?

Apparently the Ancients had not mastered pin code technology.
