Yep, they just cant fix it. But to make it more watchable, I think they should dump all the freakin makeup and do a "transformation arc" like they did for De'linn on B5. Say the terraforming changed their genetics and made them more human. They can keep the dumb looking contacts to claim their alien-ness, and save the bucks on the awful makeup. I have seen better on Halloween.

To be fair, even though I don't like defiance at all, most of the shows on that list are worse than defiance.

Ratings wise, it's actually a pretty strong performer. Take out the kids shows and the WWE and you get to see a real trend of the rest of the market.
Still, I don't really care for it that much either, but I must admit it has gotten a *little* better.
