RYAN GOSLING and ZAC EFRON

As for what role Efron would be playing, we don’t know. He could be a Solo kid. But what I was told for sure is the Gosling went in for Skywalker’s son. Yes, that’s right Luke’s kid.

I would wager that Effron would be playing this dude:

Ryan Gosling will be this dude:

Damn, that's just too much info. Obviously they need to cut it down to fit the movies they're doing, but still, the character backstories are just so convoluted. The way I see it the charm of the original SW movie was in its simplicty; it was very easily understood. Now the SW universe is filled with too many bad planet names and bad characters, etc. Just create a goofy looking "alien" and give him/her/it a goofy sounding name and add him/her/it to the already bloated cast of characters, sigh... :rolleye0014:

To be fair, that site collects EVERYTHING, and the SW team has said they are not using it really. I would expect a bear bones look at best, just using the names.

Uh-oh. In the link to Darth Caedus/Jacen Solo I was reminded of the Yuuzen Vong war.

I really, really hope that our "boy wonder" director Abrams doesn't use them just to make a CGI splendoriforius piece of garbage.

You know, looks real good on the big screen but really has no plot? Kind of like he did with nu-Trek.

Oh shit.

This really sucks not knowing how bad it's going to be (and based on past performance it's safe to assume that it will be a clunker, although after the prequel abortions the franchise can only get better).

sneak pic of SW 7:

Lets face it ape, It doesn't matter if SW 7 is shit, you won't be able to see it anyway, lightsaber lens flare alone will ensure that even the best peril-sensitive sunglasses are doomed to failure.

Yay! :joy: lens flare and a planet killing apple store.

As long as there are cute little kids (and their wacky alien and/or droid sidekicks) who save the day then I'll be a happy camper. :)

I made this...I would not be a bit surprised if JJ changed iconic characters or ships in Star Wars.

Who is the chick with short hair on the right? :P

OMG don't ask! That's Zac Effron, a Disney star that is currently battling a drug problem. Dude just got out of rehab but I guess last year was pretty much a blur for him from what I've heard. Very sad I think because there's not excuse for anyone to become a drug addict these days. After all, it's not like anyone can claim they haven't heard about the dangerous effects of drug use (narcotics like coke and meth I mean). So this little turd doesn't get any sympathy from me.

Can anyone think of any recent Disney child star that has not ended up with their life going to crap?

The list is long; Britney Spears, Christina Aguilara, Fergie, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus and this whole batch of just turned 18's all with their issues

Granted, some are a bit better off, like Fergie and Timberlake, but they all seem to go apeshit as soon as Disney "grows them"

From my viewpoint, Disney has ALWAYS been about being way out in Wonderland. I know parents who refuse to let their children see any Disney films for children because of the warped values in them. Disney promotes an idealistic (unrealistic) view of life for males and females. The value system they think they are promoting leads to pressure and finally ruin. Im surprised the Beib wasn't part of that crew. He is an honorary member. :)

More info about the upcoming movies (sorry for the crappy cut and paste):
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/look-star-wars-news-rumors/

  • Hamill and Fisher have been spotted working out, and the studio has assigned them each a nutritionist to help get in shape. Neither the studio nor the actors camps’ have confirmed any signings though.
  • Hamill met with Lucas to discuss the new trilogy, and has said he sees Luke taking on an Obi-Wan Kenobi-like mentor role.

Seven foot tall actors are being sought for a major role in the new film, which likely signifies a return of Chewbacca.

  • In July of 2013, J.J. Abrams was said to be unhappy about the production, including the release date and schedules, which he felt were being rushed. One of his biggest concerns though was the script. Unhappy with Arndt’s direction, he wanted to write the screenplay himself, and the studio was the one pushing for Arndt.
  • Anonymous sources working on the film claim that Arndt’s script was very good, but Abrams’ story is completely different, and will even feature different characters.
  • A subtitle and casting news are both expected to come before the end of the year.
  • Location scouting, production design, casting, and costume design are all well underway.

Episode VII may feature a female Sith antagonist.

Disney is eager to continue the Star Wars franchise, so the sequels will likely follow within 2-3 years of each other. Even if Episode VII is a financial failure (which is very unlikely), the sequels are as sure a thing as anything in Hollywood can be.

  • Depending on the success of Episode VII (specifically how the story is received), they may film Episodes VIII & IX back-to-back.
  • The main cast, both returning and new, are likely to sign a multi-picture deal.
