Tonight SGU is up against the footie. Also Ramsay's Best Restaurant, CSI Miami, NCIS Los Angeles & Traffic Cops.

It may get about 10 viewers.

Yeah, they had that excuse locked up for a good 3-4 months, in case the ratings didn't agree with them, when every reasonable person out there (including but not limited to the people here) stated the obvious, that moving the show to a Tuesday would be the final nail in the coffin. NCIS would eat Universe for breakfast, not to mention the other Tuesday shows. Then again, maybe it was a conscious decision, seeing that the show won't probably "survive" it's 2nd season, according to last season's ratings at least. Regardless, this has all been discussed and beaten to death months ago, it's really no surprise things turned out the way they did. We had foreseen this but once again TPTB are in denial. People just don't enjoy watching re-imagined/bastardized versions of BSG/Voyager. It shows lack of ideas, lack of originality, lack of focus and perspective. It's the easy way out. Basically all those things that plagued Universe since day 1.

"Most SGU fans didn't know it was moved to Tuesday". That my friends, right there, is an oxymoron. You can't be a fan, and not know that your favorite show was moved to "Death Becomes Her" Tuesdays. Surely even non watchers of the Sci-Fi Genre know that this pile of crap was moved to Tuesday, by the stink it caused for the last two weeks.

Their excuse about the move to Tuesdays is so illogical that I almost lost consciousness the first time I heard it. Any fan would know when to tune in to a show they are a fan of because, being a fan, they would obviously pay attention to the news about the show.

As for casual viewers, well, why would they care about the move to Tuesdays since the show isn't good enough to garner their interest on any given night of the week to begin with? Obviously casual viewers aren't compelled to become ratings building fans due to the fact that the show is so weak and crappy.

Exactly. Ultimately it doesn't matter if they move it to Tuesday, Wednesday or Sunday. If a show is good and has something meaningful to contribute in terms of entertainment, people will watch it. If not, well then just keeping it out of harm's way, so to speak, when it comes to competing with other popular shows, will just slow down the descent. But it will go down.

I agree there is too much competition of Tuesday for the US. The trend is a downward spiral. Just waiting for the end.

On Tuesdays, I watch NCIS, NCIS: LA, Raising Hope (first comedy I've watched in 20 years), No Ordinary Family (mostly harmless)...

The SyFylis Channel isn't anywhere on that list for Tuesdays -- not even with the TiVos.

We stream everything into the TV from Netflix & hulu. I think our family is the kind of family that the networks and cable companies fear the most, because my kids don't even care.

There is a very real concern in the past couple years about networks pulling their stuff from sites like Hulu, as they want to "maximize their profits" by selling access with more control. They don't want Hulu to make money on this. They want to be the ones making the money.

Ah haha! "Death Becomes Her" Tuesdays? I thought the same thing, how can somebody call themselves a fan if they dont know when their fave shows come on? I have no idea when V is airing for season 2, but I damn well know all the developments and am searching actively to find out when it returns. If they decide to air it on Sunday night at 11:47pm, I will know it. They are full of shit, and now J Mozz is crowing about iTunes downloads? Too bad the advertisers are not going to take that into account when they drop the axe on this chicken.

They are SGU fans now. There are 2 million of them, but they only count as .5 each so that explains the 1.07 ratings from last week.

OH Off topic...last year when snookie and I would eat lunch together on campus we saw a young lady who was a walking clone of Abby...dressed exactly like she dressed, even to the black hair and pony tails! It wasn't Halloween either it was in early sept right after the semester started! yes everytime we saw her she was dressed like that. Oh did you all know Pauley Perrette (abby) is 41!?!?!?!?!?
