No, but they contrasted him to Young who was really weak and attenuated in this episode. Young came off as tired and blah so next to him any man looks good. They even had Young do some **** blocking in the scene with Varro and TJ. I almost felt sorry for Young he's gotten so pathetic.

C'mon, guys! The sneak preview was interesting for the casual viewer, and apparently people are agreeing this was one of the better episodes of season 2.5. So it makes sense.
But renewal???

If I was a spin doctor, I would say - It's the delayed McKay effect.
The casual viewers saw a repeat of the SGU featuring McKay loved it! Thought he would be in the "Hunt" episode, and decided to watch it and see if he appears again throughout the episode. That's what it was.

I would find it hard to believe that any non SGU fans, that are SGA fans, would have liked last week or wanted anymore of it. I agree with whoever said it was because of the promos showing alot of action. That and , at least where I am at, it followed the season finale of Being Human.
