The Force Awakens jarred me from the very beginning with the ominous arrival of Kylo Ren and the presence of what appeared to be the Empire having returned. Making them the First Order changed nothing viscerally for me, since they were identical in just about every way. Then there was Kylo himself who looked and felt like a bad Darth Vader cosplay to me. And Rey, flying the Falcon better than Han or Chewie the first time she piloted it. But, I was willing to wait for the next one to see if they fixed it. I was wrong. Sorry for being such a Disney Star Wars sourpuss, but It is just not working for me!My thinking on the Sequels remains the same. The Force Awakens is actually not a terrible film. It was derivative but did set up new characters and I liked its use of physical sets instead of CGI. Unfortunately, The Last Jedi was dreadful and its plot impacts hurt it, hurt TFAs formerly positive impressions and also badly damaged the franchise. Rise of Skywalker I kinda felt sympathy for as Abrams had an impossible task trying to fix the crapfest he inherited from Rian Johnson. He did try to make Rey into a more rounded character but resurrected Palpatine and the wild Force powers were high order loony.
I think Andor is underrated. It feels more Star Wars to me than any of the other series they have made.
