My thinking on the Sequels remains the same. The Force Awakens is actually not a terrible film. It was derivative but did set up new characters and I liked its use of physical sets instead of CGI. Unfortunately, The Last Jedi was dreadful and its plot impacts hurt it, hurt TFAs formerly positive impressions and also badly damaged the franchise. Rise of Skywalker I kinda felt sympathy for as Abrams had an impossible task trying to fix the crapfest he inherited from Rian Johnson. He did try to make Rey into a more rounded character but resurrected Palpatine and the wild Force powers were high order loony.
The Force Awakens jarred me from the very beginning with the ominous arrival of Kylo Ren and the presence of what appeared to be the Empire having returned. Making them the First Order changed nothing viscerally for me, since they were identical in just about every way. Then there was Kylo himself who looked and felt like a bad Darth Vader cosplay to me. And Rey, flying the Falcon better than Han or Chewie the first time she piloted it. But, I was willing to wait for the next one to see if they fixed it. I was wrong. Sorry for being such a Disney Star Wars sourpuss, but It is just not working for me!

I think Andor is underrated. It feels more Star Wars to me than any of the other series they have made.

That was the issue, instead of following the plot threads and explaining Rey (if the VIII script treatment Doomcock found is true Abrams planned to do both) Rian Johnson destroyed everything.

he just DM me too. All I did before he followed me was to criticize and correct some facts in a tweet he had re-tweeted that was discussing the 'glory' of the british empire and how, that person- felt it stopped slavery worldwide

i let them know how the English King, Charles II, needing funds, as Parliament cut off the royals as a condition of Restoration of the Monarchy- cancelled the private Colonial Charters, like the one for the Virginia Company. then made them directly ruled by the Crown

he then took over the small british slave trade, gave it to his brother the Prince of WALES AND increased the numbers of humans they trafficked from Africa to America- taxing all portions of the trade. All while demanding an increase in production of Virginia farms to force the owners to look for more labor, a remedy the Crown provided with the slave trade

and they didn't 'end slavery' worldwide. Parliament essentially purchased humans to "free" them from their owners all across the empire (except India). Giving those who were exploiting slave labor vast sums of money that many of them invested into new business that made them HUGE financial empires for their families

that debt parliament incurred to the british taxpayer was only paid off fairly recently as well

Since you have Elon's attention, tell him that California's law against asking for voter ID leaves the door wide open to turn it into a red state. ;)

Yes, I had a couple. The giveaway is looking at the bio and number of followers, as well as the timeline. I had them from other celebrity fakes too.
@Atlantis could be, IDR care either way :)

i did read though that he uses more than one acct, this one friending people has been active for about a year, the article i read stated that Musk had a dedicated acct just for 'friending' so many accts per month to try and spread his "people person image"

which I can see someone ADVISING him to do. he is reported to be the same MBTI personality type I am, so, if true I totally get why he wouldn't really care about 'friends' or followers but someone working for him- to work on his image- may have told him its important

those of us in the category of the MBTI do not really concern ourselves with being everyone's buddy :)

anyhow, the acct seems to be doing nothing but re-tweeting

What's interesting is for all the doom casting when Musk bought Twitter the opposite has happened. Engagement and user volume are way up, in goodly part due to the more open attitude towards free speech. It's not perfect and there are blemishes but it is far better than it was.
