Okay, I am a fan of SGU, but I am now no longer a fan of David Blue, or should we call him David Buttkisser. I guess, he wants to make sure he gets another job by being loyal to TPTB. Which by the way, when I say TPTB, I do not always mean the Producers. It is intended to be a generalized title for any twit in control that could have made a difference. And as someone with some common sense, I think common sense would have told Mr. Buttkisser to lose a few pounds, since he was supposed to be stranded on a ship with limited food supplies.Because in this day of age, I would be willing to bet those same PTB are not allowed to ask for him to do that. Alot of fans of SG , like GF and myself have actually been fighting for the franchise and against the fan divide. But I guess we don't count.

This deserves both repeating and some green for you! :)

The part I bolded is just one of the flaws in SGU, and a serious one. Not only "Eli" but everyone stuck on Destiny would be skin and bones by this point. They never addressed their nutrition situation with any sort of seriousness throughout two seasons. We've seen Camille play with some grass in the hydroponics lab for a few seconds, but that's it. Then, in the last episode, they admitted that they've been vegetarians for all these months. There's no way they could have maintained their respective body weights on a vegetarian diet, especially one that excluded dairy and fats. Even the modicum of vegetable oil they might be ingesting wouldn't be enough to keep the weight on. How stupid do they think we, the viewers, are? Seriously, this is just plain insulting.

Oh, come on. He might actually be a nice guy who just happens to be acting stupidly atm. As a matter of fact, I'm sure he's a nice and fun guy! :)

Are you sure we shouldn't register davidbluesucks.com just to be safe?

Without knowing his sexuality we might, inadvertently, be doing him a favor. ;)

Heheh yeah, hadn't considered that.
Interesting though how Graybrew immediately starts using words like 'pole' and 'foot'. :P

I know it's a phrase, but somehow when YOU say it it starts to sound double and dirty. :D

Gosh, that is pretty scary , because all I did was type it. I can only imagine what would run through one's mind if they actually heard me say it.

Well then they'd get to see your lips move while you said it which might increase the effect exponentially. :)

Dear David,

While most of us fans don't have the possibility of seeing you in person, we here at GateFans.net gladly accept your challenge and thus cordially invite you to take part in an online discussion, perhaps Q&A style, where you can explain to us Stargate fans why SGU was so great and why the fandom was wrong in giving up watching after a respectable viewership rating when the first episodes premiered. We would also be glad to discuss any other topics you wish regarding the Stargate Franchise and its fans.
Please contact our admin Overmind One so we can set up a special thread for that purpose. We mods can guarantee you that we will make sure the debate is civil and polite, one based on sound arguments and not emotional appeals, and that nobody will resort to personal attacks or insults.
We look forward to hearing you reply.

Sincerely,
Mr. A.

I'm sorry, but I think David Blue is a straightforward person. And it was his idea, so we're taking him on his word... sort of. So I don't see why not. All I can do is guarantee that his debate will be closely moderated and kept fair and objective. I'm giving MY word on that.

And it's not "guys" atm, just me. I don't know if the rest of the team would go with it, but I have a feeling they would if DB responds.
