its on my "to do list"

but be warned, that list is fairly long and filled with a lot of recreational activities due to my seasonal lack of outdoor opportunities :rolleye0014:

By the looks of it we are approaching the witching hour over at the SyFy Boards. Or maybe within 25 hours of the same.

It has been an exhausting X-mass for some of us. Grumpy cat has really been down in the dumps since she found out that the Skiffy Boards are going down. Can't you tell?

Anyways hopefully we all will have an exciting new year. Change is coming ... Change is coming ... It will be good for some of us. Really it will.

So, pscard thinks GateWorld is friendlier than this place? Okay. :) Wait until he/she encounters the censorship (unless they have dropped it). Anyway, all are welcome here. The Syfy Forums are still up today. When I get some food in me, I plan to go over there and gather as many as possible. Also, perhaps we can reach out to GateWorld and form some sort of alliance? All of the channels have eliminated their forums. All that is left are the private boards and the increasingly difficult to find User Reviews over at IMdB. It is as though they don't want people to reveal stinker shows and movies before word of mouth kills them. :) Forums are a liability over at Syfy because most everything they are airing sucks.

I'll tell you what, you can keep the cat, as long as I get to keep all the monies she has generated over the last 3 years.

Don't get me going on censorship. Over on Skiffy I posted a few days ago in the Forever Knight thread, this particular line that ends the show, "Damn you, Nicholas!" I didn't notice they replaced a certain word with a series of star cluster ducks until I backed up my post.

I think we lost the war on more people coming. After following GateWorld for several years now it has the feel of a one-horse trick pony circus. I am surprised that SyFy didn't try and amalgamate with GateWorld. Leaving them being the good guys in this PR night mare. There are millions upon millions of hours of peoples hard work being "archived" for no ones posterity.

Okay, end of rant.

I left GateWorld when they started heavily censoring about the time that Syfy released the first trailers on Stargate Universe. After a few thoughtfully written (but negative) reviews on the first season episodes were deleted for no reason except that they were negative, several of us formed a new anti-SGU website. Then that site became a one-trick pony and we started this place. Unlike GateWorld, we startewd discussing all the other shows as well as politics and just a lot of general discussion on stuff...even though our center is still science fiction/fantasy TV and movies. GateWorld knows about us. :)
