I suppose the "value" of any subcription based thing is weather *you* find value in it isn't it?
Some people play a game for a month, give it up because they finish it and then buy a new game every month for 50 bucks, so there is that........
And really, the "model" has existed in the Roleplaying industry since it's inception some 30 years ago. You create the game and then create what are fondly known as "splat books" every month or so anyway, so for roleplayers, this is hardly a new concept.
