If you need help getting that knot out of your knickers you could simply ask you know. And as for the show, the newest episode isn't until Monday night so there isn't much to talk about here right now. The last episode we chewed up and pooped out already. Be patient. You could carry your ass over to "The Talking Dead" thread and join in the complaining there. The latest episode was pure crap and is worthy of much derision.

Episode 5 saw a HUGE plunge in the ratings(about 2.5 million)and this episode will seal the deal. Come on 3 million viewers... You know you've got trouble when your rating plummets. The location is awesome, but, the story/script/characters and execution are terrible.

I dunno...I still think if they rewrite it to have Barney emerge from the jungle at the end of each episode to devour a character (chosen by fan voting at the end of the previous episode) it would improve. Sort of a weird version of Survivor.

Are you watching this show? I stopped about three weeks ago. I havent found a good reason to catch up. I am waiting for Falling Skies to return though !

I know I might get my head chopped off for this a bit. However, I did think this last ep was much closer to what I am willing to accept from the drama/scifi new watered down mix that we are getting nowadays. There was a nice big huge dino and some cool raptors. No other man mooning over some guys wife and the teen angst had plenty of scifi and action mixed with it. Even the cute little kid got to be of value. More eps like this and I will be willing to give this show more chances.

You're right, it was certainly a better episode. From the previews I didn't think it would amount to much I admit. Still, it wasn't jaw dropping great. I never felt any real tension or sympathy for the characters even though they were in danger. The impression I got (like I do with the show in general) is that this episode tried to appeal to every type of viewer. They had the grown up stuff plus the teen stuff and also the little kid stuff. It's this 'be all things to all people' that I think is going to kill the show in the long run (or short run I should say).

Fair enough.
I was content enough for now to continue to give it another try.

Let's face it, there really is not much out there to compete with my attention right now.
