They are going to have a couple of these "disease" episodes each year - it's part of the way the run the show. Having two in a row may have been a bit much though. As to Will and the "hulk", that was way back in Season 1.
This is another of my personal pet peeves. I see it as nothing more than a filler ep.
I have watched it since the beginning and remember it (the Hulk ep)being a long time ago. I don't expect true realism from this type of show, but "way back" in season 1 was 2 years ago not 10. I don't buy it. The disease eps each year is just weak writing. The whole ep was dedicted to it. Every type of show Hospital, Lawyer, Cop, Space that drifts off into this, irritates me to no end. For example, I don't want to watch Grissom get hunted down by the serial killer, I want him to find a killer in a non bias way. I don't want McSteamy to fight for his life , I want to watch him deal with a medical emergency on a patient. And it goes on and on and on. I know that they all do it. It might be "a part of the way they run the show" but I don't have to like it.
If they could just have a rule of thumb from now on. You are only allowed to have the characters almost die from some hideous disease ONCE EACH, anything more than that (even two years apart) is just annoying and ridiculous.
I enjoy stretching my imagination for these types of shows, but please don't insult my intelligence. This Does.
But Afterall, this is only IMHO and a pet peeve of mine.
