Well according to KEK TV ratings have nothing to do with DVD sales, so I am sure BW will pop out a SGU movie.

To be honest, I am not laughing. I am beyond ticked off that SGA was cancelled for this. SGA in it's last 10 eps went up to almost 1.7 Million viewers Live+SD. That is more than 700,000 viewers now comparing the averages of the final 10 to date. Very sad the franchise has to end like this.

Aren't the dvd/bluray sales incredibly low for SGU? It would be suicide to continue to fund SGU and complete the series.

I agree, it is a sad, sad end for a wonderful, once-vibrant franchise. And you note that when SGA was on its' last season, and people knew it, MORE tuned in to see it! But for SGU? People dropping like flies. This is SO sad, these ratings just drive the stake in further.
You know, deep inside I also feel the same way. When there is NO new Stargate on the air its going to feel all "over" for me for a while. Sorta like the period between the cancellation of Enterprise and the new Trek movie reboot in 2009. But I am CERTAIN that in a few years (or less), we will see it rebooted. It wont be like we remembered it, but it will be Stargate. It could even come as a couple of new movies done my Devlin and Emmerich.

For KEK nothing besides his own little reality IS reality *shakes head*. DVD sales are also low, no matter what KEK believes or not.
I am really curious about BW and his future. After all what was said and done I would think about giving him a job twice. No, no movie, not with this numbers.
