any philosopher or inventor/ creative mind
i know we won't have a total package like Michelangelo with his accomplishments in art, writing, engineering, general design or science, but is there anyone who comes close to him, or any other person approaching Michelangelo's stature?
Some come to mind immediately, but they are mainly shallow and motivated by one thing = money.
At another level to this, is there anyone today whose thoughts may be ready ideological/creative fodder for the sci fi/fantasy writers of a century from now (like how Descartes was for Phillip K Dick and others)?
Surely we can hope that the sci fi writers of our not to far off future will draw inspiration from someone/thing other then the great shows and movies that were done (and re done) before them?!
maybe i can get a really good sci fi show/movie by the time I am 90!
