Yeah I understood that much, but I was more interested in knowing what kind of medicine it was and what's so bad about it.
The gods of wikipedia say it's an immunosuppresaant used to treat inflamatory diseases and certain types of cancer.

I think I watched almost the entire first season before I gave up on it. The storylines didn't interest me at all, the characters fell flat, and some of the writing and action was downright awful. In fact, ''Don't touch me unless you mean it'' is one of the worst lines I've ever heard in a sci fi show.First season was slow, but if you saw through the general cheesiness, you could see all the pieces being laid out. How much have you watched? I think others may disagree with you.

I've been thinking some more and this is a few other people I could see taking over Stargate brand.
Jane Espenson
Pros:
Served as a writer for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Battlestar Galactica, and Caprica.
Is currently part of the writers staff of Torchwood: Miracle Day
Cons:
Served as the showrunner during Caprica's first 10 episodes.
She's a good pick and can be forgiven the Caprica nonsense.
Tim Minear
Pros:
Served as a writer/director for The X-Files, Lois and Clark, Firefly, Angel, and Dollhouse
Cons:
?
Good track record.
Steven Moffat
Pros:
Is the current showrunner of Doctor Who
Created Coupling
Co-created the BBC television show Sherlock
Cons:

Good pick but obviously focusing on Dr. Who currently. Would be interesting to see the take he would bring to Stargate.
Russel T. Davies
Pros:
Created and served as the executive producer for Queer as Folk (UK)
Successfully revived and served as the executive producer for Doctor Who
Is currently serving as the executive producer of Torchwood: Miracle Day
Cons:
Has a tendency to write big and epic stories that are resolved with deus ex machines
Has expressed a wish to write something else than science fiction
Doesn't like Stargate
He gets my respect for reviving the Dr. Who story but would probably be too weird and/or cartoonish for Stargate. He's also ungodly politically correct and tends to let that dominate the story telling instead of just having a good romp. Get's too preachy.
Robert Hewitt Wolfe
Pros:
Served as a writer and producer for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, The 4400, The Dresden Files, and Riverworld (2010)
Developed and served as the executive producer of Andromeda
Cons:
?
Not loving the track record other than Dresden Files but I'd give him a chance.
Steven S. DeKnight
Pros:
Created Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena
Served as writer/producer for Smallville, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Dollhouse
Cons:
Is busy with Spartacus: Blood and Sand
Good resume. He'd get my vote.
