Yes, that necklace may contain the key to stopping the invasion. Or alternately Helen may prevent the destruction of Praxis in the past.

For next season i think Helen will end up killing the 1889 Adam, negating the future Adam from destroying praxis and stopping the invasion.

The other option to keep with the lighter side is for Helen to get the cure from future Adam, then go to when Adam was pleading with her to cure his daughter. Changing his life, hence Adam never goes to Praxis.

There was a scene where he was about to take out Will. Thankfully it all worked out in the end.
