Yes, I am quite sure about my information on this particular tidbit! Greg Morris is Phil Morris' father, who is Jamil's dad. I only discovered it recently because since JWS' last name is Smith and not Morris, I was confused. But Im quite sure! 100%

Why is his last name Smith? I know I'm probably showing my age but I'm asking. I remember Mission Impossible with that great cast. Leonard Nimoy was on it Linda Day George, the guy who played in Space 1999 and his wife, Peter Graves and that big muscle man.

Maybe it's his mom's maiden name? I bet he uses it to avoid accusations that he uses his family's connections to get jobs and to prove that he can get work based on his own talent.

One of favorite shows from that Era. Big Muscle guy was Peter Lupus. IIRC, Phil Morris took over Greg Morris' role from season 3

I don't remember the mission impossible series much, I saw them as a kid in 90s, because they never aired in czech television before, so they had to catch up on old stuff. Also I love starsky and hutch, they still air it sometimes here, although I watched that only ocassionaly.

EDIT: I remember the 80s series more I believe, but there was Phil Morris instead.

Its gonna be hardest for the writers who have been doing this pretty much their entire careers. They dont yet realize what has happened. Joe Mallozzi is still talking like he is in charge of something, when he is the Executive Producer of Stargate Universe which just got cancelled. He is OUT OF A JOB with regard to that. He hasnt internalized it yet, and neither has Brad.

I think Jamil and the other actors saw it coming long ago. But, they were just doing their jobs. Too bad their employer was such a shortsighted idiot.

If my memory serves me right, a guy in the audience during SGU's comic con panel in 2009 said that he was a huge fan of Jamil's father and grandfather, but Jamil replied by saying that he was in no way related to Greg or Phil Morris. I'm pretty sure you can find the video on youtube. Though maybe I'm wrong about that. Where did you get the info anyway? If it was IMDb, I would bet a million on the info being incorrect.
