Which is why I loved the first four seasons of Northwoods Law in Maine!Yah ... I wanna fast forward sometimes too . Cool to see so many familiar streets and locations like the beach 5 mins from home .

I would think yes ... It must be a mid season shoot episode . Not sure how far ahead they shoot episodes . I know the script can change a few times before they do a completed episode . I was unable to watch them shoot it this week. I would not post any pics of course had I been there .i fairly enjoyed s1.. s2 seems to be coming off a bit 'preachy' so far
are those beach shoots still for s2 eps? guessing, if so, then after mid season break they air(?)
Yah . That was fast huh ... 2 weeks at the most . I did not get a chance to get a pic of the White House . That set was huge and right out in the open in the center of Toronto lol for all to see ... But real tuff area to stop and take pics . I swear it looked 5 to 6 storys tall from the road .. It was the all blown up scenes .
It also is all gone now ... I think it was there for 3 months or more last summer .
You are SO LUCKY! They used to do so much of that locally here in Los Angeles. There was always some good set peeks and awesome first run productions going on in the streets. Also, there were openings for tech contractors like me to work for a few days or months. My connections in the industry are saying that most all the studios are farming production out to smaller companies.
believe it or not, Pittsburgh has been getting more and more popular for major shoots; movies and tv
OUTSIDERS on the WGN (for all its silliness) was made in a nearby urban area of Pittsburgh
----
a city/town can only hold a monopoly for so long before they price themselves out of competition
i am guessing-i have ZERO evidence!- that the one of the only reasons the big studios in Hollywood are used is for interior shots and green screen stuff, post production etc. and that only because so many of the celebrities and ancillary folks still choose to live there
its a bit of how like Rome was still held in such esteem even long after the seat of imperial power moved to Ravenna
Holy crap . My neighbour got to drive a tank in a Designated Survivor episode . He said it was smooth as butter in there , fast as hell and a hoot to drive . I always thought it would be ruff as hell . He said it works just like a big BobCat .
Cool !
I guess you will have to watch the episode with a tank in it as I have no idea what it is . It may not have aired . I have not watched season 2 yet .what type?
most modern armored vehicles use what most ppl would cal a steering wheel though in some vehicles they are a bit mit oval-ish with square-ish corners
the old steering by laterals went out with the M113 vietnam era series of vehicles--some still in use today
and yeah, the suspensions in m1's and m1o9 series arty vehicles is very smooth..better then a Humvee i know that
