Just wow. This amazing sand painting artist creates the scenes in these videos by moving sand around on a lighted table with her hands. She adds sand and removes it while music plays, and it is just amazingly captivating. :icon_clap:

Playing these full screen with headphones feels almost surreal. I want to see this artist in real life. :)

Yup different sand artist her name is Kseniya Simonova and so do I.

Love these ones as well. There is a story behind each of her work which is always great.

when I see something like a jackson pollock paintings being valued at 140 and 180 million dollars it kills me inside that. I may have not have a degree in Art but I know what looks good and what doesn't. I have a similar sort of stance on music as well who imo is also an art form. Some of the most atrocious music is being made these days and that seems to get so much attention and they get paid bucket loads of money to make that sort of stuff.

LOL @ the paintings below the video! I know, they are supposed to be high art, but please... I have seen this same sort of "art" happen when a frustrated cat or dog knocks over paint. The bottom one looks like somebody snipped a square from a very used dropcloth..

Im with you on the "music" too. Where has the artistry gone? Rap and hiphop is not music or art to me.

Have you ever heard of any of these sand painting artists performing live? I saw Ilana Yahav performing on some cable show where she was a featured artist. I had never seen anything like it before. :) Your later postings were also AWESOME. I would like to see this done in real life, close enough to hear the sand moving around on the table.
