out of all the 'players' from the ones i use, the best - on ROKU at least, are YOUTUBE and AMZ.

NETFLIX is the worst- most laggy, most ""i try to adjust the volume and my TV turns off", issues out of all of them

which i find ironic as it was NETFLIX who initially developed ROKU when NF started with their digital svc to replace their by may mail svc

thank god they sliced ROKU off and someone else made it far better

I still think the endpoint will be 1-2 aggregators who carry everyone's streaming content and fold it all into a single account and fee. The aggregator then tracks and reports back to the various streamers who watched what program and such.

We use Amazon cubes for our viewing, and basically every streaming service we have (which is a lot of streaming services to be honest) works through the cube. We haven't really needed anything else for many years.

We don't have a roku and we don't have any issues with Netflix whatsoever, so perhaps there is just some kind of compatibility issue there.

much of it as well - though not mentioned here- is privatization of govt functions or contract work for the govt. Contractors/ private co's doing govt work just do not care

not that govt workers do, but at least public law and public duty (in some jobs held by an Oath) requires them to 'care'. private companies/contractors? "pfft" whatever gets them paid

and if trying to figure out something is a scam on a scam (like fake plates re-used stolen from a vanity plate) is not in the contract, they are not going to do it

don't open that political rabbit hole.. DOGE is a joke. create a new bureaucracy to have look at the current ones.. yeah.. ok

and, nothing could go wrong with having two billionaires overseeing/recommending what companies get Govt contracts.. could it?

I DO NOT WATCH the negative reviewers like 'critical drinker', in general, but I have watched some of his reviews. to me, he is just another one of these YTrs whose 'brand' is to be negative no matter what, maybe throwing a 'like' to a movie or show every once and awhile when he fans approve

but I do find it very funny that the man who is so busy trashing everything made, has raised money on the back of that negativity to make what he promised would be great entertainment,, get destroyed over what he has made

another one who has found out it is far easier to criticize and take apart than to create

Negative reviewers are needed but not to the extend some of the negativebaiter or Hatetubers as they call them.

agree

if i were to ever watch any of those, it would be to see WHY I should watch something, not why I should not

just thought it very funny- ironic, that the guy who trashes, to the point of making money from it, nearly everything made, then raised money from YT fans promising to make a movie fans would want to see (with the likes of Mike Dupod in it no less :) ) and then apparently delivered a DUD worse then most of what he has reviewed

Critiquing is very easy to do but creating something out of nothing is harder to do.

And Pillar of Garbage (the "reviewer") is total garbage. Extremely political and to one side of the spectrum.
