Do the SqueeBoyZ have a little club meeting every Thursday? I'm guessing complete with the official 'sekrit club handshake,' and each has his own special decoder ring... Don't you know that when the sales for SGA were calculated the moon was in retro over sagittarius and the sun was in cojuction with Mars.
That means in my book "your industry accepted standards are garbage, your figures will be correct when the sun is in alignment with Neptune"
Obviously, when the figures for SGU were calculated, Venus was in Saturns sidereal orbit and the moon was in the 12th house of Jupiter.
That means in my book "Your favorite show is suffering from a cosmic conspiracy and all rational thought and evidence is falsified, it is in fact the greatest success story in the history of television"

Bah! Curse my technical upbringing Working with my hands for the majority of my life and having to struggle to gain what little brain i have has set a steep curve for me! Although Snookie's posts always make me laugh because they're just pure common sense which is so not common anymore. Know that if we ever meet in real life, i WILL be flirting non-stop and ask her to go rock climbing

On point, it's fantabulous to see Deevil struggling vainly time and time again against insurmountable odds. Blaming EVERYTHING but the show itself does not make one look intelligent.

Knowing her, she would go! she loves the outdoors! She's also into martial arts, so don't try anything...she can protect herself! I like to think she gets her common sense from me, but her dad had a role too. there is nothing wrong with working with your hands- sheesh I really despise those who look down on others because of their job. IMHO (and I can speak for snookie too on this I am sure) as long as a job is legal and honestly done there is no dishonor in doing a job. Ok can you tell her mama is from a blue-collar background?

I dont understand the logic of censoring verified factual information from readers at Gateworld. If you have people in a building and you censor the fire alarm, nobody knows the building is on fire! The censorship over there appears to be so bad, readers get the impression SGU is doing great on all fronts. The fear of the posters over there in stating the obvious is also bad. With squeeboys over there like Major Davis and power trippers like Deevil and Skydiver, Gateworld is no longer a place I frequent. I like normal coffee, thank you....not decaf.

I can so relate to those descriptions. I am glad you are giving yourself the opportunity to get the tech training and certifications out of the way before attacking the market. You will need to re-cert later, but only about once or twice. A geek in the field gets knowledge about quirks of Microsoft and Apple and Linux you will NEVER find in a tech course or a knowledgebase. You will understand symptoms of sick computers instantly and you will know the solutions. You will get a reputation for being good AND quick. And you can command a higher income!
