Rac80 is right. Rednecks are everywhere. The nuclear age has brought us more than just flat screens and phones that are handheld computers that outgun the 2-story high mainframes of old. It's brought us the mobile, wired redneck.

Have you ever seen the Jerry Springer show? If it were an American reality show, the training would be 6 weeks concluding with a launch in a flying interplanetary trashcan stuffed with dumbasses. Hicks would be lined up around the corner, down the street and all the way out to the state line to get on a show ending in a one-way trip to Mars without fully appreciating the consequences of such an endeavor.

It'll probably be in-studio type filming during their 10 year training and they'll probably film themselves while on Mars. I doubt any cameraman in his/her right mind would want to fly a one-way mission to Mars to film a bunch of dumbasses.
