Hopefully they won't film anymore eps but if the do Tripler will no doubt give us the heads-up as soon as filming begins. Incidentally, this kind of reminds me of back when OM1 would give us updates on the dismantling of sets for SGU. I remember being on pins and needles just waiting for the wrecking ball to finally do its job. :icon_lol:

Correction Last season it started filming in the beginning of august. It's the end of august and the previous season began in april 2012, so you maybe right.

Like somebody else posted here, the Teamsters used to be a sure bet for information. Also, phone calls to Union receptionists and secretaries could be very fruitful if you could sweet talk them. But now, they are no longer releasing information. Phone numbers lead to IVR systems where you leave messages for callback. :( The Bridge thing I used was because I happened to know somebody who was catering those crews and they could actually tell me in real time what was happening on some days. :) I wish I had a contact like that at Syfy or Paramount or Disney. :(

There's probably a lot of behind the scenes wheedling and whining by TPTB to keep this turd in production. I sincerely hope they fail though.

BTW, how long do we think it will take before a "Save DEFIANCE" online petition gets started? You just know some people are going to try that one. That will be good for a laugh. :anim_59:

Actually, it's already started. There is now a twitter feed for "renew defiance. People are wondering where it is. The lack of responses doesn't look too good, but then again, let's wait till the end of the month.

I've felt that way ever since SGU. It's sad that people are such idiots that they equate a valid desire for quality programming with that of being trolls. On the up side of things, at least moronic tools like this guy are good for a laugh. I found his use of the word "gifted" in describing DEFECATION to be worth a good chuckle:

I have no idea who the big execs in charge (of what I assume to be creative development) are at the SyFy Network (ie NBC), sans research on my part, but they seem to have all the panish of QVC. Buy lowbrow and sell high! I hate to think the internet trolls' wish came true and SyFy further demolish their continually eroding brand name by cancelling yet another gifted series like Defiance.

Syfy destroyed their brand name when they stopped being the Sci-Fi Channel.
