The Stargate Movies

You know, I was just thinking about Mallozzi's bitter "bull-log" , *ahem* blog where he claims that the cancellation of SGU threatens the SGA movie and realised, as many of you, i am sure, that he's full of shit.

Yes folks, it may come as a shock, but Mallozzi is full of shit. He's angry and bitter that the evil , i mean angry Atlantis fans got it right. SGU fucking sucks.

I have a very difficult time reconciling how the cancellation of SGU will hamper the development of the SGA movie. (Notice how Mallozzi tries to make us think progress was made in the past couple of months on the movie, just to bait us. How childish.)

It has been stated on this site before, but since many of us enjoy beating dead horses (SGU) ... I declare to you, without any facts to back me up that:

THERE WILL BE STARGATE MOVIES, AND SOONER THAN SOME THINK.

A history of profit making direct-to-dvd sales with the Stargate franchise has proven, without a shadow of a "pencil neck panty waste" exec's doubt that if a movie is made, then profits will ensue.

You want to make a quick buck? Throw together a Stargate, direct-to-dvd movie, the fans will gobble it up.

And forget the notion that it's an SGU movie they will make. MGM just coming out of bankruptcy won't be chomping at the bit to gamble on the clearly failed idea of SGU. (SGU: The show that wasn't even tested with the existing fan base.) There's no built-in fanbase if you don't know for certain that your new direction works with the existing fans. God these people are dumb!!!! HAHAHAHAH!

MGM screwed up financially in the past, it won't happen again.

Don't count on specifically an "Atlantis" or "SG-1" movie, but you can bet your arse that it's going to be a marvelous reboot with a few familiar faces.

It's a shame Mallozzi and company plopped Atlantis on earth, that was a colossal bonehead mistake, but intelligent, sci-fi loving writters will be able to bail us out somehow.

There are countless stories yet untold.

Any thoughts?

With Atlantis on earth, O'Neill, Carter, Daniel and Teal'c pay a visit. They get together with McKay, Sheppard, Ronon and Keller. Accidentally they discover a device which triggers an instant teleportation across time and space to the time that the ancients were originally on earth. Unfortunately even they don't know of a way for the SGA and SG-1 people to get back to where they came from. ...
