The fate of Continuum Season 4 is STILL not yet decided!

For those of you who are waiting for the decision from Showcase about Continuum Season 4 (as I have), you know that this has been possibly the longest drawn out decision in science fiction series history. There were "We will hear by such and such date", and then that date would come and no cancellation for Continuum, but no renewal either. Now, the new "announcement date" is November 30, 2014:

This show has been so awesome, and it actually ended season 3 in such a way that it could be considered (and accepted) as an ending, even if it did not resolve. But the promise has been to give us more, and the fact that there has been no cancellation HOPEFULLY means a renewal?

Im hoping for a renewal, but this long of a delay in a decision, and no rumors of pre-production for Season 4....it doesn’t seem too positive. ABC's reboot of V went this route as well....

As you said they could end it the way they have it now. But they do have a "mission" - to fix the damaged timeline. Kiera and a reformed Liber8 would be trying to get the timeline back on track.

Kiera as part of a reformed Liber8 going against the now powerful and influential Piron headed by Kellogg could provide an EXCELLENT jumping off point for Season 4. Kellogg himself comes from the future, unlike Alex. He knows what Kiera's technology can do, and he can be a formidable enemy to both Liber8 and Alex. This could go for several seasons more!

Waiting for some decision is depressing as hell.

Let's face it, the show was and is not perfect but three years ago Continuum was the only thing available and had huge potential.

As the first two seasons were filmed in dreary Januaries there still might be hope yet. Kiera chasing down the bad boys from Abbotsford, with all their armour, would make for an interesting series of 'police procedurals'.

I think I mentioned here that when Thunderbird Films bought out the 'Continuum' people that they would create another pocket to be filled.

Their latest project, "Ascension" was actually sold to the CBC and not to SPACE, or SHOWCASE.

After waiting for some six months and feeling various shades of blue I guess some of us should be excited about what we get.

Continuum's time-mending and mind-bending tale continues following a suspenseful third season that reached more than 2.35 million viewers (v2+)* and ended with a cliffhanger finale that won the night as the #1 program in key demos for all of Canadian specialty**.

So, the show gained more viewers as it progressed with the finale putting it at #1 in key demos and they're dumping the series after a 6-episode final season?!? Who the f'k is running these networks??

It's the Millenials. They are the most vapid generation to come along yet. They were born in the Internet Age, and they are "uncomplicated" and easily influenced by outside influences. They are VERY into interpersonal relationships. I think that stage plays can make a comeback with this generation.

BTW, Laura Vandervoort is assless. I think somebody came up behind her and bit it off! She has the absolute flattest butt I have ever seen on or off television. Besides that, she looks so f'king generic. The facial expression she has on basically describes her. YES, I would pass on her if she offered herself (as if she would).

As much as I would like to stay out of this I got the impression that this press release is more than disengenous on their account. The show "Continuum" is being broadcast in over 132 countries and yet all these different stations can't pony up enough scratch to finance the show. Yeah, right, I believe that one. Same thing with Lost Girl and yet both shows are being cancelled due to what - costs?

If they had 2.6 mllion viewers for the show they would have finally hit the Top 15 on the Canadian version of the Nielson ratings. As most remember no ratings were forthcoming from these people. If I had that many people watching my show I would be chuckling away in every advertisers ear. Watching live I suspect they couldn't garner up more than 800,000 eyeballs per show.

I will be polite and only say that according to some, Toronto is the known centre of the Universe. With a Toronto station having the opportunity to televise other Toronto filmed shows, they probably took the chance that they could drop "Continuum" without anybody noticing. Thus a tiny specialty channel that only broadcasts a bland offering might of got caught up in a situation where not enough people want to buy their services and all the loss leaders got summarily chopped.

Remember that all of these decisions were made by all the new appointees at ShawMedia.

I guess I should use my eyes a little. After reading it carefully I think now that they are suggesting that the accumulated viewers for all 13 shows could be 2.69 million or such. Either that or I still can't figure out what they are trying to convey.

Now here's the thing, Laura may be small and skinny but I don't think size or weight matters in this regard as I've seen tons of small and skinny people, both men and women, who have a rounded definition to their glutes. I don't mean they have big butts, but rather, that they aren't flat. Her complete lack of definition in that area is shocking, mostly because I don't understand how someone could avoid using their glutes to the point that they are just a straight, vertical line. That, to me, is bizarre.

Usually, white chicks built like this go for a boob job and work everything from the front (face, boobs). If she had everything else going on, it might make the difference...like Rachel, and even Amanda Tapping. Just their energy is enough, and they are not exactly bootyless. Laura is.
