The backdoor pilot for this prequel aired in the S7 episode of THE 100, titled ANACONDA

That episode, and this potential prequel, centered on the founder of the SECOND DAWN cult.. whose member's and their descendants went on to become the 12 Grounder clans. As well as the founder's family.

The daughter is revealed as being the first Pramheda to succeed Becca Franco (the creator of the 'mind chip' and The Flame chip as well as the A.L.I.E AI and, developed Nightblood anti radiation therapy for the Eligius Corporation's deep space missions) who lived with the Second Dawn cult after she came back to Earth

The show, if created, may run on both the CW and HBOMAX concurrently

If they do make this show, it has the potential to be even better then 100--if you stuck around past S1 you know the show got far better.

Showing the creation of the 12 grounder clans, their de-evolution into near barbarity... maybe showing their interaction with the Mountain Men as well.

It will most likely also show the concurrent evolution of those second dawn members who went through the alien gateway to a new world where they inherited the tech of a long extinct alien race-- YES, there were strong Stargate references made in S7

yes.. it COULD be a very interesting show if done right.. going into it..any viewer of the 100 ALREADY knows it has embedded SJW issues in it.. and just as we know its cast was mainly that of young actors playing 18 yr olds, we knew it would have some creativity and plot in it that appealed to younger audiences

but, TPTBs adjusted to early criticism and made a few changes starting in s2-- i think they recognized that the show earned a demographic of older viewers as well as the younger typical CW crowd and adjusted for it

this prequel,based on premise alone, could result in a much more diverse storyline than 100 had where so much revolved around one character. as a person who is into all things human behavior related, i would love to see a good story told on how Americans,, all of whom HAD TO BE wealthy to join second dawn and even higher status to actually get into the sealed bunker,, devolved into the Grounders. Speech, social actions ,culture--- hypothetical cultural anthropology!


did you also pick up on the basically direct "lifts" from Stargate that started in S6? Amanda Tapping was on the TPTB team then,wonder if she had a hand in that?
