they keep on bringing in more material--as they WANT to use it and how--from the EU into canon by intro'g places, and ppl into the movies and REBELS.

looks like it may be getting less and less a kids show and geared more for at least the teen and young adult up through us "old heads" from 1977

hope the season is as good as the trailer

I really want to love Season 2 and 3 of Rebels, but.....Ashoka (the new one). Is she still in it?

she was in about 3 or 4 s2 eps, has not been in s3 yet

They are using Rebels exactly as they had previously asserted they would - to bring in select EU elements to the canonical storyline without having to bring in the rubbish parts of EU with them.

last episode they had imperial guardian (i think that was the name they had- maybe sentinel) droids. they bore a very close resemblance to some imperial troopers that were in THE FORCE UNLEASHED--also now EU

Well, (Darth) Maul is finally dead-seemingly

killed by Kenobi on Tattoine. his death statement to Kenobi basically states that he has recanted the Sith and is hoping for 'salvation' with 'the chosen one'-Luke, who Maul guessed Kenobi was protecting on Tattoine

REBELS is moving closer to closing the time gap between the prequels, clone wars and itself and ROGUE ONE and the OT

last ep of this season showed us Thrawn closing in on Phoenix Squad, forcing them to go to Yavin and the main rebel base

probably be one more season then done
