Type O-Negative is simply wonderful, and Peter Steele (the singer) is just damn brilliant!!. Music matching the mood, THAT is important.lol that's one creepy video and the voice too O_O.

Soft rock, it has it's place, it just does not make me "feel" Each to their own though.

You might agree with most of what this guy says. I have noticed that the drum samples in some of the modern day electronic music doesn't sound as crisp as it used like say back in 60,70'a and 80's and 90's and 2000's. It now sounds drowned in white noise and annoying snare drums and loud blaring synths like Hans zimmer's annoying loud blaring horns in Bladerunner 2049 soundtrack.I DO like rob Zombie, as he has the ability to tell a story,, to me that is what music should be. The style that gets you, that can vary, Slayer can tell a story, The whole album of seasons in the abyss" teells a story,Look for the story, Iron maiden just does it incredibly well.
I don't mind Hans Zimmer, but to say it is "processed" is not wrong. I love metal, especially 80's metal because it was raw. Maiden keeps that going, which is why they are my musical love and they still play today. All that power and energy, makes you want to bounce off the walls. I've seen them live, and Jesus christ man, they just make you cut loose. In the front, in the cheap seats, The sheer energy of maiden is infectious. The fans, the band, It is all so REAL in a sea of shit, and that is what most music is now, auto-tuned SHIT. I am no fan of Synth (barring a few groups) but at least in the 80's and 90's, they have thier own sound. Now, not so much. You might agree with most of what this guy says.
