Anyone watching Person Of Interest ? Man this show has really gotten beter with time .
Mr Reese , Mr Finch , Detective Carter , detective Fosco, agent Shaw and Root are just an amzing group of loonatics that get you hooked . You have to watch it right from the start to understand the character developemnet . The shows jumps back and forth in time to the characters historys and basically shows you how they became who they are now ... Fun to watch with a lot of twist and a bit of humour thrown in now and then along with the sorrow ...
Just watchin season 4 ...

I have been watching Person of Interest on my "Bravo" station. Unfortunately, when you watch a show in syndication you come across roads that were not travelled, or were quickly abandoned.

There are so many similarities between "Continuum" and "POI", and their dead ends that they throw at the viewers. If scuttle-but is true I cannot see how they can close the series up in 13 episodes. The big meanies from that 9-1-1 and "heart transplant" show deserve some sort of retribution if you ask me.

The Finch, Fusco, and Zoe characters need to live on.

I originally watched the first three or four episodes, then stopped, mainly because I didn't care for Caviezel's character, John Reese.

A year or so later I stumbled upon a real cheap deal on the first season, bought it and watched it quickly. Over time I also bought Season's 2 & 3, plus watched some of this season on cbs.com, but also had to buy a few episodes through Amazon in time to catch up to this season. I like the overall story arc, although it is a lot like many science fiction shows, huge doses of suspension of disbelief are necessary in many of their scenarios.

My favorite characters are Finch and Root. I like Shaw too, and hopefully she is not completely compromised. That story line was devised because Shahi was pregnant. I hope to see them rescue her and bring her back into the fold early in Season 5.

Not only has CBS ordered just 13 episodes, they are holding PoI until mid-season. Chances are that will be the end of the series. Given that amount of time, I think they can do a good job of wrapping things up.

I watch the show in syndication so I am a season behind.

For those who don't watch the show Sarah Shahi was not only pregnant but carrying twins, so the extra time off might be good for her.

Some of the early shows are remeniscent of the early "Angel" shows so I kind of thought that POI was a slight rip-off of that series.

I'm not too crazy with the direction it's gone this last season, though. Shaw was an unnecessary obvious eye-candy addition thinly veiled as an "ass-kicker" and the whole Samaritan storyline seems contrived.

When the main cast becomes too big, the stories tend to get fractured and characters begin uneven screen time as the salaries get bigger. We'll get a "Shaw" episode, a "Reese" episode, a "Finch" episode, etc. just like the recent Reese episode where we spent the better part of the episode in Reese's imagination sitting next to a deceased Carter.

I liked the show better when Reese was "the man in the suit", which had a Dark Knight feel to it. Now he's a police detective.

Just watched that ep last night with Reese and Carter . True . There are a few eps were you know either Reese or Shaw or Root will save the day which I found to be kinda silly but hey , its all good fun entertainement . Shaw kicken ass is my fave . The one scene when she gives a bad guy a thigh crunch was just , well you know ... I can do a pretty good impersonation of Harold and Reese ...
On another note I was listening to CBC this mornin and there is apparently a real system watching everything you do with your smart Phone ...

Maaaan you guys finally start watching this when I had to stop coming here (still waiting on Gatefan1976 to watch it). This is probably the only decent level sci-fi show on tv now. Although, the recent season was maybe less so.

I liked that simulation episode where the machine goes through various scenarios. It deconstructed the characters in a pretty funny way I thought.
