OMFG...Crysis is DA SHIZNIT!

What a freakin surprise! I have been so in love with the Delta Force series, and this game slipped under my radar? Its AWESOME! This video is ACTUAL GAMEPLAY! The graphics in this game need to be seen and felt in the game to be believed. Even the movie quality sound is impressive. WOW.

This is my first time playing it and seeing it, and I am VERY impressed, given that this game is 3 years old. The LAN play is very very simple, and anyone with a static IP can host a game without Gamespy (from what I can see). This game is ideal for multiplayer!

Rather than starting a brand "new" thread I thought I bump this thread up and talk about Crysis 2....Man am I pumped for this game or what? The setting is great the storyline seems very good(I hope) and add it the visuals are going to be stunning. Definitely going to go and buy it for the PC...

Honestly, I'm not quite as pumped as I was back in the winter, but that's because of school and having played the Crysis 2 MP beta for the XBox, which was a pretty uneven experience. There was a ton of fun in the Nanosuit mechanics, but one hit kill melee turned it into something that had to be endured. I hope Crytek fixed the MP component, because this one of three/four games I might buy this year.

I personally am getting the PC version because the game was born on the PC. The PC demo is coming in 2 days so I can't wait to download it and test it out. EA is being a little more generous to xbox 360 players because you guys are getting a second demo which comes out in 2 days as well.

Im not really a console player, because no game I have played on ANY console beats the type of performance you get when playing on a PC. Consoles just dont have the juice. Although with the new multiple core processors they are using, they are catching up quicker and quicker. But they are always behind. When I first got Crysis, I couldnt get it to play right on my PC. So, I upgraded it to a quad core, and now I have an i7 (upgraded two days ago!). I cant wait for this game! But Tripler recommended Amnesia Dark Descent and that doesnt take a ton of juice to run. GTA 4 is cool too.

You could have just overclocked your CPU and bought a faster graphics card :p. The beauty about having a PC is that you can always overclock the the parts to give you get that hidden juice that is hidden away in the hardware.

I think I am going to need to upgrade my 4870 to play this game at the highest setting(probably get a gtx470 or 460 depending on how it runs. Plus I can't wait to try out the mods(the mods for Crysis 1 were epic and really fun).

I've played dark Decent, decent but a little weird.

IMO you should try out a game called, Portal. What's portal?It's a game that uses portals to solve puzzles. What makes it so special? Well for starters it's Science fiction(and not just any ordinary sci-fi game) 2. You use your head for once to solve the puzzle. 3. There is humour in the game(though borderline chessy but not too bad). 4. The game is made by the people who made Half Life(the science fiction game)


Here is a compilation of the various puzzles you'll be solving in the sequel to the popular game.It's a bummer you didn't get the prequel before hand because, valve gave it for free on their website. The puzzles are easy at first but some of the puzzles in the sequel are ****** HARD LOL. In the mean time please check out the prequel have a go at it, test it out...

Crysis 2 comes out in march 22nd and portal 2 comes out in April 22...The sequel to portal 2 is going to have Co-op so check it out, worth playing it.
