Momoa disparages SGA

In a waiting room today and picked up a copy of GQ

Momoa on the cover... I know the guy has done a lot of stuff since SGA but it makes me upset when he either--
1 does not acknowledge his time on SGA

2 Attempts to make fact that his largely non speaking role on game of thrones was the start of his career

3 acknowledges he was on SGA but his time on it he was poor and living in a van or sharing an apartment. Saying things about SGA as if it was some kind of cult/kitsch show that he only did for money-- like how some mainstream actors say they 'had to' do porn to make money? he gives that kind of vibe

Considering that until Aquaman he was a failed actor whose previous big screen "break" was a disastrous performance as Conan the Barbarian he has little to talk about. Even his role as Khal Drogo was basically him either sitting silently or having sex or being dead.

he isn't the only one, a few actors often make fun of either their first role or the show it was in

just sad they will talk in such a way about something they worked on, and in the case of SGA, what so many millions loved and still love

i think he is very good actor and did a great job on SGA for someone who says he hated it (or at least leans to that with other words)

he has also done a good job in stuff like FRONTIER on netflix and THE RED ROAD

He's guy who should defi stick to the small screen

if you watch him in Frontier or Red Road, he does very well in those, IMO. similar character to his Dex, but with more lines
