Marcia Wallace a.k.a. "Edna Krabappel" passes away

Anyone who has watched The Simpsons has heard her voice as Bart's teacher. And anyone old enough to remember the original Bob Newhart show remembers her as being the wise-cracking secretary. She passed away from complications related to breast cancer.

Marcia is who I remember most from the Bob Newhart show rather than the Simpsons. She was the life of the show! her gummy smile and one liners made it funny. No way could Bob Newhart carry that show by himself. RIP Marcia!

I am going to miss her signature laugh. Apparently, they are going to kill off a character this season and it wasn't Edna it's someone else. My friend told me that a few years ago Fat Tony was killed off.
