I hope they have a video upload for the panels this year. I had trouble getting any vid from the panel's last year. I want to see what Brad has to say and wether he addresses the underlying issues of sgu or just ignores it completly.

I really wonder what he will say after all this failure knowing he will be around by so many SG1/SGA actors.After all he is the one that killed the franchise and SGA abruptly.

They knew it was going to get canceled when the initial season 1.5 ratings started coming out. I mean from what's been said, they had a contract for two seasons but had a certain minimum they had to get to get the second season. And things started diving from there. Shouldn't have been much of a shock really.

The only thing shocking is that they didn't write an ending to the show when they knew it was inevitable. There's wishful thinking and then there's outright denial. TPTB were in the latter camp.

It was fun to watch the propaganda machine in action, all the way to the bitter end. I love how they did that interview on SPACE channel in Canada as the Cancellation Bear was waiting for them in the parking lot after the show.

So much wasted effort on a clearly inferior product, it boggles the mind of any rational man.

Why would they even waste money on that? They were really desperate, I guess. Plus TPTB are good at overselling.

I would have thought things would have become more relaxed after the cancellation at GW but apparently not. Eh, I prefer here anyways, always enjoyed discussing things without worry about censorship, having to be diplomatic with words and whatnot, and this new site isn't likely to whore itself out, at least I hope not.

The guy contradicts himself too much, a major vague hurdle has been overcome. How many hurdles are there? I mean honestly, and he even says he's not in the loop anymore, so why does he still answer? Is he that big of a drama queen and attention-seeking?

Yes, JM is clearly what you call a "blowhard", you know, one of those guys who knows everything and is never wrong about anything. Those types are very annoying, usually harmless, but annoying.

They knew the cancellation was inevitable since the season 1.5 you're right.Sadly they obtained 2 years contract.That was confirmed by Engler Graig on twitter.Why did not they make a proper ending?But they use to act like this.They made the same for SGA when BW&RCC knew SGA would not get 6th season.They already left the show 2 years before letting reigns to JM&PM.According to JoeF this didn't change anything for them cos the crew&actors didn't see them on the sets for long time ago before.despite this do you think they gave proper ending to SGA?

Les problèmes avec l'ancien site ont été causés par seulement quelques personnes là-bas et ce n'était vraiment pas une scission énorme pour la communauté, même si elle peut sembler elle était grande.

L'ancien site était destiné à changer de toute façon parce que SGU a été annulée et le site avait besoin de se transformer en quelque chose de mieux à ce qu'il était, ou de cesser car il n'y avait pas lieu de ne parler que de SGU. Maintenant, ce site met l'accent sur toutes les choses et Stargate se concentre également sur la science-fiction en général.

Les administrateurs ont également de meilleures règles de conduite afin qu'il y aura moins blasphème ou la lutte contre autorisé. Cela devrait rendre le site plus attractif pour tout le monde et sera plus accueillante à tous. C'est vraiment une bonne chose.

Donc, vous voyez mon ami, vous ne devez pas vous sentir mal à propos du changement dans les forums que c'est vraiment une bonne chose de se produire. Nous sommes tous impatients de façon positive pour Stargate et contrairement SGU.S ou GateWorld ce site sera plus convivial et accueillant.

No, they didn't give a proper ending to SGA. I remember watching the last episode and shaking my head in confusion at the end. It was so unsatisfying and didn't wrap up the series at all. It was truly a weak effort to end the show. We deserved at least a movie to end things properly, if not another season.
