I thought we already had a thread about Luke Cage here but apparently not. Discussion must have been solely in the other Marvel threads such as Iron Fist then I guess.

Season 2 of Luke Cage is out on Netflix and I've been watching it for a few days. I must say I'm finding it rather good. After each episode I want to see the next one. They've gotta some really good music in this too, on the stage in the Harlem Paradise nightclub. Man those appear to be some real good musicians, and I don't know but I get the feeling that they're the real deal.

Anyone else watch this yet?

Edit: One thing I should add is that the fighting choreography is not so good in this one. It's just so obviously staged.

I saw that season 2 was out but haven't bothered to watch it yet. I like some of the first season but it went on wayyyyyyyy too long. Too much filler. The second half of the season was completely unnecessary. Netflix can't seem to get the length of a season right for some reason. It's obvious that they're pissing away money needlessly on filler episodes for some (most) of their shows.

Maybe you'll find that the same is true for the second season, but I don't get this feeling myself. I find this show has a lot of story in it which is developed in every episode.

Saw the season 2 finale today. It ties things up nicely and then throws some twists in there setting things up for the next season.
