If you like the Honor Harrington series and thought that it was worth your read then check out Thomas DePrima. Jenetta Carver is just as interesting as Honor was and the book moves at a faster pace.

I like commenting on the science fiction literature and when i find good book/books I usually try to let people know. The other author I think is closest to Weber is probably James paterson. His Maximum Ride books are quite good.
