Why would anyone sync their real life with Facebook?

real time The Timeline feature is just the kernel of where they are going with it. Facebook and Google are both doing invasive things, but Google is far more manageable and they seem to respect giving users the ability to COMPLETELY opt-out of any tracking. Facebook and Apple are not going to let you decide what gets synced or tracked, they will only inform you it is happening (maybe).
Facebook wants access to your email and your conversations. Google already has it.
