Stargate Universe star David Blue has admitted that he is "disappointed" with the show's ratings.

Recent episodes of the sci-fi drama have hovered at around 1m viewers.

"I do think that a lot of us feel disappointed that the ratings aren't higher," Blue told TV Squad. "It's hard. We were really proud of what we'd done this season and we've got some of our best stuff coming up... and it's kind of disappointing to think that people might not be watching it."

However, Blue claimed that DVR ratings had helped to restore the cast's confidence.

The amount of people that watch SGU may be bigger than the ratings, but that also means that SGU is not one of their priorities and they rather watch other shows than SGU.

Did they honestly expect ratings to improve this season? I mean, why would they improve? The majority of the fandom has rejected SGU and make their feelings known by not watching. This was proven during the first season. Not even Robert Carlyse and keep people watching this long.

And someone should tell these fools that publicly complaining about ratings isn't going to change anything. Honestly, it just makes them look even more stupid and desperate every time they bring it up.

Oh, and David Blue may be dissapointed in SGU's ratings, but I most certainly am not. :icon_cool:

Oh...Davy?

The show just doesn't appeal to a wide group of people. In fact, it appears most of Stargate fandom isn't watching.

Doesn't that tell you something about what people want, and that they're not willing to settle for what isn't even second or third best?
