I got taken to see this (which is good because I had no intention of actually paying for it myself - movie theaters are getting too pricey). Not sure how to describe it so here are some thoughts:
1) Anthony Mackie was okay, Has some charisma and gave a decent performance. Harrison Ford gave a surprisingly good performance (like he actually cared). Everyone else was just...there.
2) #1 being what it is, Mackie is not Captain America no matter how they try to spin it. He is Falcon and while he did a good performance it felt like Falcon cosplaying as Captain America.
3) The plot was dumb and the SFX below average. Disney needs to crack down on the SFX house and find out why the quality of their CGI has degraded over the past few years while at the same time being exponentially more expensive.
4) The numerous reshoots ruined the whole flow of the movie - the film feels like it was edited with a woodchipper.
5) Red Hulk was in it so little the film could be accused of false advertising in its marketing.
I'd put it like this; it's better than The Marvels and better than The Eternals. It's also a bit better than Ant Man Quantumania. Beyond that not so much. And with the reboots pushing the true budget for production over 300 million this is going to make Disney take a financial bath. Alas...
