Abroad in Japan - This channel is addictive

I stumbled across the channel and first was surprised to discover it has nearly 3 million subscribers and its videos average well over a million views. And what is it basically? It's the life experiences, travels and documentaries of a sarcastic Britisher living in Japan. The impressive part is how professional the videos are especially in light of the low staff, virtually zero budget and lack of a studio (he only got one a week ago). I recommend it - the series below is his tour of the country on bicycle.

Sounds like it might be interesting. Japan is somehow always fascinating. A while ago I watched "Our man in Japan", a Prime Video show with James May as host, travelling through Japan. It was 6 or 8 episodes or so, but I couldn't get enough. I'll probably watch those again too.

The nice thing is Chris Broad (whose channel this is) goes all over the country first on bicycle then later does smaller trips to islands and such. He also does stuff on what living in Japan is like. A couple of years ago he got on Google's bad side for a bit when he did a video explaining why Google Translate is problematic for Japanese.
