*Sigh* - Its a science fiction winter, with nothing good to watch except reruns until Spring

Fallout was excellent! For anyone who has not seen it, Dark Matter is cool too, but it got canceled on a cliffhanger. Same with Night Skies. I am not interested in anything wearing the Star Trek name for 2025. Dune was also excellent, although it deviates from the book and previous Dune movies in Part 2. Looking forward to anything fitting the REAL definition of "science fiction" when it comes along. Doesn't look like anything new is coming on that front. Skeleton Crew is gonna kill Star Wars IMO.
just watched DUNE 2 on the new 'pirate bay".. youtube.. totally free, no commercials, high quality

didn't see the first one, but i know what happens basically from the old movie. this version seems to have more 'presentism' to it in many ways

people are more realistic and not some unreachable, aloof space mystics. the way the show their combat is also as it should be.. things change but stay the same

I'm glad you watched it! It's closer to the book than the Lynch movie, which to me has been dethroned as the best Dune movies. There are changes to the stor, but the new one is just so much more! Thanks for telling me about this BTW. they have lots of awesome free movies on there.

the movies just are not there very long

i think the YTr themself takes them down before they get a copyright strike

The SyFy miniseries are the best because they stick the closest to the books and also Barbora Kodetova killed it as Chani compared to the usual bland Zendaya performance.
