you say that the Mandalorian goes to Mos Eisley spaceport "not known for bounty hunters or bad actors" words to that effect. alluding to the fact that Mando is on the run so why we he go there?

well, Gary oh Gary, Mos Eisley is well known for its being a hot bed of illegal activity and full of undesirables

You have Gary all wrong, dude. But that is neither here nor there. I did not really like Episode 5. I can see a distinct difference between the first 4 episodes written by Favreau vs this one written by Filoni, and I just did not like it as much. The female bounty hunter was a wasted storyline, and the guy who was playing like he wanted to join the Guild but then betrayed Mando was miscast. I liked the female mechanic, and seeing the pop droids, but the story itself left me flat.

I agree with you, the Fandom Menace is definitely more centrist and right leaning. The SJWs are necessarily left leaning, as are the feminists and diversity police. I have yet to come across anyone in the Fandom Menace who is also a lefty. But perhaps that is because I lean right.

and out of curiosity, i watched a bit of a few livecasts...they only answer the questions of people who pay!! how is that 'fandom"? it is not, it is making money talking about another person's/companies work. being in it for the money is what disney does, and these 'fandom' dicks are doing the same

Why is it you don't seem to realize that Star Wars is no longer the thing it was when it's creator was in charge of it? Why do you continue as though George Lucas wasn't betrayed by Kathleen Kennedy and that the Disney trilogy is what George Lucas wanted? Why do you not know that the greater Star Wars fandom is in an uproar over the Disney movies?

I don't like Disney Star Wars. I do like the Mandalorian and I think I am going to like the Obi-Wan series. But their trilogy sucks so far, and I have no reason to be optimistic about TROS. I don't get fans who just swallow what is fed to them without having their own opinions about them. I also don't have a problem with them liking Disney Star Wars.

Do you engage them on Twitter? I do. And what questions would you be asking them? I agree, they seem to be in it for money and views, but then again, why be a YouTube content creator if you can't monetize your work? This site was never meant to generate revenue. I even removed the Google ads I had on here. GateFans remains online because I choose to continue paying for it, not because I need it. But I am going to become one of those YouTubers within the year, creating content and monetizing it like they are doing. It won't be part of this place. Forums don't seem to be a preferred platform for discussion anymore.

some good background on Mandalorians-- planet, people, culture as well as The Mandalore- the leader of all Mandalorians

i mentioned this earlier, the Mandalorians in this show- it is pretty apparent none are native Mandalorians, but those who have been adopted into the culture.

but the fact they are homeless and basically outlaws from Mandalorian mainstream indicates they may be a smaller group of the larger losing side in the civil war that took place to oust the Empire from Mandalore and Concord Dawn

real Mandalorians can remove their helmets and armour without repercussion

reminding us that Jango Fett was excommunicated from Mandalorian culture and why Boba is not a Mandalorian

due to his being a clone and never had been accepted or trained into Mando warrior culture

with this, and knowing the penchant of Filoni and Favreau for incorporating elements of SW'S Legends (fan fiction) into their works, making the stuff canon. In LEGENDS there are many mercenaries and bounty hunters who wear mandalorian armor but are not mandalorian -genetically or via cultural assimilation

they just got the armor and wear it has a form of intimidation, impression making...a lot like stolen valor in our reality

so we could see some of these show up in this series at some point. some are speculating the Boba will appear. Some are even guessing that the boots and cape we saw at the end of EP5 of The Mando are those of Boba as his last known location was Tattoine (though apparently NOT in the Sarlaccs digestive system)

There is a press embargo until the 18th at 3:00am, but even shills like Scott Mendelson are saying it's a bad movie. Possibly, the negative impact for fandom could be worse than The Last Jedi.

I still love the Mandalorian show. But they almost can't get past Baby Yoda (The Child now). They are making the show about this macho Mando protecting the lil baby Yoda and it is a heartwarming concept. But I don't think it's where Favreau and Filoni want to keep the show focused. They either need to give us some backstory on the baby or tell us why it is so important and why there is such a bounty on it. The original bounty hunters wanted to kill it, so why is that? Once it was delivered to the other bad dudes, they wanted to study it.

I really hope the failure of the "mystery box" thing that JJ has brought into things at Disney is dumped. We do not need mysteries to last this long.

i think the reason why 'baby yoda' IS a baby is yet to be revealed. i mean, an adult force sensitive Yoda-species under control of anyone would go against canon ( no one could capture and hold Yoda)
